Introduction
Designing effective instruction is not as simple as choosing an instructional design model and following the model step-by-step. To construct effective instruction, designers need to consider the theoretical foundation to which the design will be built upon. Therefore learning theory and instructional design model is a partnership where both are essential parts of the design process. While learning theory will not solve or answer design problems, it will however help define instructional components that can be used towards finding a viable solution within a framework. A solid understanding of theoretical framework will result in designers being able design more effectively and in a more organized manner.
